We have engaged the White River Trout Lodge overlooking ‘The Narrows’ on the White River. These dates should coincide with the Shad Kill (although that can’t be guaranteed) on both Tailwaters. We will have breakfast on Sat/Sun mornings, box lunches for you on Sat/Sun and on Saturday night we’ll have a menu of barbecued ribs, chicken and brisket that you won’t be able to resist!
The lodge holds up to 16 so the more we get the less it costs us all since the per night rate for the entire lodge is $400. At this point we have seven signed up. We estimate the cost for each including food will run around $55 a day at most if we get at least 12 signed up. We can cancel within two weeks of the date so let Mark know quickly. There will be a $50 deposit for everyone who wants to go which you can send to Mark Borserine, 4001 West 87th St., Prairie Village, KS 66207-1907. Clint Wilkinson will be able to provide guides if you will let Mark know in advance. Guiding fees are in addition to the ‘per day’ for lodging and meals. This will be a great outing and the chance, if the shad kill is on, to have some of the best fishing you will ever enjoy!
