One Fly Outing June 2005

Our One Fly outing to Maple Leaf Lake was a fun chance for club members to get together

and experience some of the local fishing for bluegill, bass and crappie. Check out the fabulous selection of watercraft.

There was a hard-fought One Fly Tournament before the serious business of enjoying lunch

got underway. Cliff Newton was the undisputed Tournament Winner; he actually used only

one fly all morning to catch six “keeper” size bluegill (be assured they were all released)

An important part of the day was the superb lunch provided by Jim Jorgensen and Bill Lyons
