Spring Creek Magic:
This will be an in depth look at techniques and fly patterns for
catching the most difficult of selective trout. Learn new ideas on
approach, flies, equipment, casting and the hatch to get those elusive
fish that leave most anglers scratching their heads. This program will
be based on Mike’s excellent 2003 released book Spring Creek.
Nymph fishing from top to bottom:
You will learn useful information on all aspects of nymph fishing from
drifting deep nymphs in fast water to the delicate presentation required
on soft flowing spring creeks.
Proven techniques for larger trout:
This will be a presentation on the best times, best places, best
techniques and best patterns to take big trout on America’s finest
public waters.

Angling Biography of Mike Lawson
Mike is the former owner and now
General Manager of Henry’s Fork Angler’s Shop in Last Chance, Idaho.
Mike is an Idaho native with a BS degree from Brigham Young University.
Mike has led fly fishing trips to many destinations around the world
including New Zealand, the Caribbean, Alaska, Patagonia and Christmas
Island. Mike lectures extensively and is a noted author on the subjects
of fly fishing and fly tying. His books include, Spring Creeks,
a twelve year project, and Fly Fishing the Henry’s Fork. Mike is
a frequent contributor to all the major fly fishing publications and is
a contributing editor to Fly Fisherman Magazine. Mike has also
been featured in several fly fishing videos.
