Fly fishing Tips: Learn the common sense tactics employed by one of America’s greatest fishermen for catching more and bigger fish and doing it more comfortably and safely. Advanced Fly Tying: Thoughts and demonstrations on designing and tying salt water flies. Fly Casting: Learn Lefty’s basics and fundamentals suitable for all fly casters.
Partial Angling Biography of Lefty Kreh
An active outdoor writer for 50 years, Lefty holds a staff position with several outdoor magazines and is the retired Outdoor Editor of the Baltimore Sun Newspapers. Hehas written a host of books well known to the fly fishing community. He has received many honors and awards, including the “Angler of the Year” for 1997 by Fly Rod and Reel Magazine. He has earned the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the American Sportfishing Association, the “Lifetime contribution Award” by the North American Fly Tackle Trade Association and is named to the Hall of Fame for Freshwater Fishing and the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. He is a Senior Advisor to Trout Unlimited and the Federation of Fly Fishers. Lefty has fished in all fifty states, all the Canadian provinces, over much of South America, the South Pacific, Europe and Iceland. He has been married to his best friend Evelyn for more than fifty-five years and resides in Hunt Valley Maryland. Return to Outings Schedule
